REVO Permissions

Quote Management Permissions

  • Maximum Discount Limit (Quote.MaxDiscountPercent)
    • Purpose: Restricts how much a user can discount below the system's suggested price.
    • Details: Applies at both individual item and overall quote levels. The Global Admin can override this to allow up to 100% discounts.
    • Default Setting: Users can discount up to 100% unless specified otherwise.
    • Example: A maximum discount of 100% allows the item to be given for free.
  • Discounting Non-Rented Items (Quote.DiscountNonRentedItems)
    • Purpose: Controls whether fees and programs can be discounted, including items like insurance or other non-rented items.
    • Default Setting: No discounts allowed on fees and programs.
  • Edit Quote Cost (Quote.Edit Cost)
    • Purpose: Allows the employee to adjust the cost in a customer quote.
  • Apply Discount to Quotes (Quote.Apply Discount)
    • Purpose: Enables the employee to apply discounts to customer quotes.

Point of Sale (POS) Permissions

  • POS Login
    • Purpose: Allows an employee to log into the Point of Sale system.

Employee & Store Management Permissions

  • Edit Employees
    • Purpose: Grants permission to add, modify, or remove employee records.
    • Details: Includes adjusting permissions, adding or removing users, and resetting passwords.
  • Edit Store Settings
    • Purpose: Allows the employee to modify general store settings.
    • Details: Includes changing printouts, tax rates, fee pricing, early purchase options, and terms.
  • Edit Workstation Settings
    • Purpose: Provides access to configure workstation-specific settings.
    • Details: Includes changing printers, initializing card readers, and selecting signature methods.
  • Edit VOIP Settings
    • Purpose: Allows changes to Voice Over IP (VoIP) settings for store communication.
    • Details: Adjust which extensions are recorded, name extensions, and configure related settings.
  • Edit Price Settings
    • Purpose: Enables editing pricing configurations for products or services.
    • Details: Can adjust fees and item pricing.

Sales & Inventory Permissions

  • Remove Lead
    • Purpose: Allows deleting a sales lead from the system.
  • Create Quotes
    • Purpose: Grants permission to create new price quotes for customers.
  • Receive Inventory (Inventory.Receive)
    • Purpose: Allows new inventory to be recorded into the system.
  • Void Inventory (Inventory.Void)
    • Purpose: Grants the ability to void or cancel inventory items.
  • Edit Invoice (Invoice.Edit)
    • Purpose: Allows changes to be made to already issued invoices.
    • Details: This includes changing pricing and removing tax from invoices.

Agreement & Payment Permissions

  • Partial Agreement Void (Agreement.VoidPartial)
    • Purpose: Enables the employee to void parts of an agreement, such as removing individual items.
  • Full Agreement Void (Agreement.VoidFull)
    • Purpose: Allows the entire agreement or contract to be voided, turning it inactive.
  • Unapply Payment (Payment.Unapply)
    • Purpose: Grants the ability to unapply a payment that has already been made.
    • Details: Payment must be within a specified number of days to be unapplied.
  • Free Time & Free Money (Payment.FreeTime & Payment.FreeMoney)
    • Purpose: Allows an employee to apply either "Free Time" or "Free Money" to an account.
  • Refund Payment (Payment.Refund)
    • Purpose: Enables refunding processed customer payments.
    • Details: This includes voiding payments and providing refunds.
  • Open Payment Types (Payment.Open)
    • Purpose: Allows using open payment types, such as reconciling payments taken in RAM to reflect in the system.

Advanced Features

  • Beta Access (Beta)
    • Purpose: Grants the employee access to features currently in beta testing.
    • Details: Often used for viewing reports or soon-to-be-released features.
  • Debug Mode (DebugMode)
    • Purpose: Enables running the system in debug mode for troubleshooting purposes.
    • Details: Primarily used by support teams for technical troubleshooting.

Miscellaneous Permissions

  • Allowed Term Types (AllowedTermTypes)
    • Purpose: Specifies which terms or contract types the employee can manage.
    • Details: Provided as a comma-separated list. Examples include Retail, 18Months, Installment6Months, TeamMember6Months.
  • View Calls
    • Purpose: Allows viewing of recorded or live calls within the system.
  • View Leads
    • Purpose: Grants the employee the ability to view sales leads.
  • Spotlight Search (Search.ViewStoreGroup)
    • Purpose: Grants permission to view search results from other stores within the same store group.
    • Details: Determines whether an employee can see search results beyond their store, such as other corporate stores.
